DOT & FMCSA Compliance Services

Administrative assistance for trucking businesses navigating USDOT registration, operating authority, and compliance requirements.

USDOT Number Registration

Assistance with obtaining a USDOT number, which is required for commercial vehicles operating in interstate commerce above certain weight thresholds. The USDOT number itself is issued at no charge by the FMCSA — agency service fees are separate.

  • Required for most commercial vehicles in interstate commerce
  • Issued at no charge by the FMCSA (fmcsa.dot.gov)
  • Necessary before applying for operating authority
  • Agency service fees are separate from any government process

Operating Authority Setup & Reinstatement

Assistance establishing new MC (Motor Carrier) operating authority or reinstating revoked authority. Operating authority is required for for-hire motor carriers transporting regulated commodities in interstate commerce.

  • MC authority required for for-hire interstate motor carriers
  • New authority application assistance
  • Reinstatement of revoked or inactive authority
  • Government filing fees apply separately

BOC-3 Process Agent Filing

A BOC-3 (Designation of Process Agents) filing is required by the FMCSA for motor carriers, freight brokers, and freight forwarders applying for operating authority. We coordinate with the process-agent provider on your behalf.

  • Required for FMCSA operating authority applicants
  • Designates process agents in each state
  • Must be filed before authority is granted
  • Process-agent and agency service charges may apply

UCR (Unified Carrier Registration)

The Unified Carrier Registration program requires motor carriers, freight brokers, freight forwarders, and leasing companies operating in interstate commerce to register annually. Fees depend on the registration category and fleet size where applicable.

  • Annual registration requirement for interstate operators
  • Applies to motor carriers, freight brokers, freight forwarders, and leasing companies
  • Fees depend on registration category and fleet size where applicable
  • Government fees apply separately

Licensing & Permit Assistance

Guidance on various permits and licensing requirements that may apply to your trucking operation, including state-specific requirements.

  • State permit requirements vary by operation type
  • Oversize/overweight permit guidance
  • IRP (International Registration Plan) information
  • IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) information

FMCSA Record Updates

Assistance updating your FMCSA records including changes to company information, insurance filings, and other required updates.

  • Company information updates in FMCSA systems
  • Insurance filing coordination
  • Address and contact information updates
  • Required regulatory record maintenance
